Angela’s Edibles


Angela’s Edibles is a range of small batch regional and seasonal preserves made by Angela Leonard, in Mudgee NSW Australia.

Born in Mudgee and passionate about its produce and those who grow it, her emphasis is on using produce from her own garden, her family’s garden, local area gardens and Mudgee produce that she picks herself.

This might include a product made from a single source, a favourite fruit tree, the cumquat trees from her garden or from a small grove of quince trees growing along the Cudgegong River.


She began making jams and preserves in 1986 when she and husband Simon opened one of Mudgee's first Bed and Breakfast and cafes.

Her aim is to capture the flavours of Mudgee in a jar and her philosophy is captured in this poem.

“Mudgee in the pot,
I cook and stir a lot.
I put it in a jar for you
So you can have some Mudgee to”
